Ilminster Air Cadets will be holding an open evening later this month for youngsters to learn more about the huge range of activities on offer for Cadets.

2381 (Ilminster) Squadron, Air Training Corps will be holding the open evening at the Cadet Centre, opposite the Tesco supermarket on Shudrick Lane, Ilminster on Thursday June 19, 2014 from 7pmto 9.30pm.

Young people aged between 13 and 17, are invited to come along and see for themselves the huge range of activities the Air Cadets take part in, including flying, gliding, shooting, adventure training and fieldcraft

Adults aged 20 upwards are also invited to find out what’s on offer to those joining the Air Cadets as an Adult Volunteer.

Staff and Cadets from the squadron will be available on the evening to answer any questions about the Air Cadets.

The Air Training Corps is a national voluntary youth organisation, open to young men and women aged between 13 and 20. .

Ilminster Air Cadets are an active Squadron and they participate not only in flying and gliding but are also involved in adventure training and target shooting and archery to name but a few of the Squadron’s activities.
