Dorset Filling the Skills Gap – What Reserves and Cadets can offer

The focus will be on Reservists and Cadets and how they can help you, as an employer, to fill the skills gap. Reservists, in particular, will receive a great deal of military training, both in their trade or profession and in leadership and management, much of which is directly transferable into their civilian jobs. At this event, there will be advice on how you can support them in employment. Several key note speakers, with first-hand experience, will bring the subject to life; this will include existing ‘supportive’ employers, who are already reaping the benefits, and experienced Reservists.
