Bristol Army Cadet delivers lifeline to community

An Army Cadet from Bristol has been so inspired by the work of frontline workers and the Armed Forces, in supporting the response to Covid-19, he has started volunteering his time to support his local community.

Cadet Joe Hillier from Brislington Detachment of Bristol Army Cadet Force, has been out and about visiting the elderly and vulnerable in his local community, by helping them with their shopping. Joe has been delivering bags of shopping to those who have been asked to shield, whilst observing social distancing guidelines.

Joe’s Dad says that he enjoys being a Cadet so much, and has been so inspired by the work being done by the Armed Forces in support of Covid-19, that he wanted to do the same.

Well done Joe, keep up the fantastic work!
