Cornwall Army Cadets compete to represent the South West in athletics championships

Army Cadets from across Cornwall travelled to Par last Sunday with the hopes of being selected to represent the South West in athletics.

The competition took place at the Par Athletics Track Centre and Cadets took part in events including the 100m, 1500m, Discus, Long Jump and Shot Putting for boys and girls across three age groups.

Based on this competition a selection of Cadets will be chosen later this month to represent the Cornwall Army Cadets for the Regional South West District Team Championships, held in Exeter at the end of May.
