Employer Recognition Scheme

Image

The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) recognises and celebrates the commitment of UK employers who actively support Defence personnel, including Reservists, veterans, and their families. Administered on behalf of Defence in the South West region by Wessex RFCA, the ERS encourages employers to align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.

The ERS operates through a three-tier system of Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards, recognising increasing levels of support and advocacy for the Defence community.

Through the ERS, Wessex RFCA works closely with employers across the region to guide and support them in their journey towards achieving Bronze, Silver, or Gold status, reinforcing the vital relationship between Defence and the civilian workforce.
