During the course of the weekend, Cadets from St Austell Platoon were proud to be the first in the County to be issued with new Multi Terrain Pattern (MTP) Combat Uniform.

Army Cadets from other Cornwall Platoons will receive their new uniform over the next few weeks.

On the final parade of the weekend three new Cadet Company Serjeant Majors (CSM) were appointed. These were Dionne Igalawuye of Torpoint Platoon; Joseph Hooper Camborne Platoon and Daniel Rowe from St Blazey Platoon Inkerman Company.

The three hard-working Cadets were presented with their CSM Cane and badge of rank by the Commandant Colonel Les Donnithorne. Cadet RSM Matthew Cunliffe from Looe Platoon was also promoted on the day.
